Café Delion was born from the fusion of Balázs Café and KGB (Kálvin Gastro Bistro) in January 2018 and is now headed by the extravagant, rock musician turned chef, Mr. Imre Nyuzó. Each dish we serve is like a poem: carefully selected and harmonizing ingredients are turned with state-of-the-art kitchen technology and the French school mastery of the chefs into a piece of art, which pleases the eyes as well as the palate. Our motto: eat and drink fine.
Our chefs start their morning routine at the nearby market hall and handpick the ingredients which they then prepare with great precision and attention to detail. However their creations are based on traditional Hungarian dishes, with a twist, and therefore they will not remind you to any course of any other international cuisine, but they are also unique in Hungary. In our restaurant food is the star of the day or the evening, the program itself, not only something in addition to a good draught or kraft beer, a coctail or excellent Hungarian wine, which further enhance the food. To the outstanding food and drink selection we offer an informal and homey atmosphere, because indeed gastronomy is the most important for us.
We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, draught and kraft beers, Hungarian wines, and at the weekends live music. In the summer we operate a terrace. From autumn till spring we have a lunch menu changing every week. We are glad to prepare our food offer with regard to the specific needs of our guests, let it be gluten sensitivity, lactose allergy, vegan diet or any other unique need.
